Don't like vegetables, what to do?

Somehow my child dislike vegetables, she simply hate the sight of them. If the rice, porridge or even soup got vegetable in it, she will scream and say there is dirt inside. I will have to pick out the vegetables in it, and she will then eat the food. It can be quite a headache sometimes, imagine the rice was being fried with chopped spring onion, then we have to separate the spring onion out from the fried rice, can be a tedious 'exercise'.

One thing quite surprising is that she loves dried seaweed, even though it is vegetable. I hope that as she grows older, she will appreciates the vegetables better.

KinderJoy with Surprise!

KinderJoy is currently the favorite snack for my girl. Advertisement on KinderJoy was widely shown in between cartoon channels. It has become a very hot popular `luxury' snack for the children, two chocolate balls in a creamy spread, costing S$1.60!

KinderJoy is shaped as a egg-shell, half contained the tasty milky chocolate, the other half egg-shell is sealed with a toy which need assembling.

What made it so popular is the surprise that comes with it, each individual `chocolate egg' contained a toy inside, it play with the kid's curiousity, wanting to buy and peel off the cover to see what the toy inside.

I see my girl carefully scooped up the chocolate with the given tiny spoon, worry that the egg will `fly' out to the ground. Happily munching the chocolate and eyeing curiously at the other half of the egg wondering what the toy inside.

"KinderJoy with surprise" will continue to be a popular snack, at least for my kid... :)
